Y-PEER (Youth Peer Education Network) is a global network of young people and organizations promoting healthy lifestyles and sustainable development by empowering youth to make informed, responsible decisions through peer education.
Founded in 2001, it emerged to address the lack of effective, youth-centered health education—especially around sexual and reproductive health. By using peer influence, Y-PEER creates safe spaces for young people to learn, share, and support one another.
Today, it operates in many countries, advocating for youth rights and health, tackling issues like HIV/AIDS, mental health, and gender equality, and helping youth become true agents of change in their communities.
