Who we are

Y-PEER is a groundbreaking international network of more than 500 non-profit organizations and governmental institutions, powered by thousands of young leaders across the globe.
Since 2001, we’ve been working at the intersection of sexual and reproductive health, youth rights, and sustainable development using peer-to-peer education to break barriers, fight discrimination, and create healthier, more inclusive societies.

Our Goals

Everything we do at Y-PEER is built around four core goals — access, education, participation, and rights — to create lasting change for youth worldwide.

Equality of Access

Have equal access to quality SRHR (including HIV/AIDS) information and education through non-formal and formal learning and trainings.

Quality Education

To strengthen and spread high-quality peer-to-peer education in the field of Y-PEER’s focus.

Youth Participation

Participate in a progressive, substantial and inclusive way in political and decision-making processes at all levels with regards to the achievement of SDG and ICPD agenda.

Promote rights

Have young people’s rights recognized and upheld, enabling their engagement in all aspects of their development.

Behind Y-PEER’s global impact is a dedicated team of International Coordinators. They connect regions, nurture young leaders, and make sure our movement grows stronger every day.
